To confirm your place in any in-person yoga teacher training or retreat, a non-refundable deposit of US $500 must be made upon booking.
If a booking is made less than one month in advance of the start of the retreat, the whole amount is required to confirm your place. If the full amount of the retreat package price is not paid at least four (4) weeks prior to the retreat start date, your place may be released and resold and the deposit forfeited. All payment due dates will be communicated clearly through email.
In good faith, bookings are refundable, except for the $500 deposit, up until the second full day of the retreat or teacher training, if a guest needs to cancel for any reason.
All cancellation requests must be received in writing via email.
If a guest cancels at least two (2) calendar months prior to the first day of the retreat, 100% of their package can be credited to a future booking, within one year of their original booking. Guests can switch dates a maximum of two times.
A Yogatrotter Academy reservation is fully transferable to another participant over the age of 18, for the same date and package.
If Yogatrotter Academy is forced to cancel a retreat due to outside circumstances, including but not limited to: emergency, low participation (fewer than five guests), acts of nature, or venue cancellation, paid guests will be given the option of transferring to a future course date or receiving a refund of the amount paid.
Yogatrotter does not offer discounts, refunds or credits for guests arriving late, leaving early, or missing any of the activities/meals while on the training or retreat. In the case of 200 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, guests must be present for every course activity in their entirety to be eligible for certification.
Any bank fees incurred through transferring funds are the responsibility of the guest.
Any taxes, including country-specific VAT tax, are the responsibility of the guest.
Yogatrotter Academy is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or damages incurred during a training. All participants must sign a liability waiver form before arriving in agreement of this.
Yogatrotter Academy is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled trips, such as airline tickets, or for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellation or illness.
Participation in a Yogatrotter Academy Yoga Teacher Training does NOT guarantee certification. All requirements of the Yoga Alliance 200hr program must be met, and all exams and assignments must be completed with a passing score above 75%. All requirements will be clearly outlined, and ALL classes must be attended in order to receive certification.
Yogatrotter Academy teachers reserve the right to deny certification to any guest for any reason.
Yogatrotter Academy may, on occasion, accept students from or combine trainings with another closely affiliated school, such as Full Circle Yoga School or Escape Haven Retreats. This will not affect guests of Yogatrotter Academy in any way, and the course product and teachers will be identical whether students booked through Yogatrotter Academy or an affiliated school.
Teachers certified by Yogatrotter Academy are responsible for obtaining their own Yoga Teacher Liability Insurance before teaching yoga on their own, and Yogatrotter Academy is not liable for any injuries or damages incurred by students of Yogatrotter Academy graduates.
Guests must be at least 18 years of age to attend our retreats and trainings. Guests under this age may be allowed to attend the retreat provided they are accompanied by a guardian aged 18 years or older and permission has been granted by management.
Terms & Conditions of booking a retreat or training can change at any time without notice. The current terms & conditions are always applicable.
The schedule and included activities can change at any time without notice.
All online trainings, Zoom classes, and ebook purchases are non-refundable.
